HVAC SYSTEMS
Why You Need An Expert In HVAC Is Because In Pharmaceutical Manufacturing More Than 50% Of Input Energy Is Consumed By HVAC System Of The Building.
In Pharmaceutical manufacturing, how space conditions impact the product being made is of primary importance. Worldwide the pharmaceutical facilities are closely supervised by the food and drug administration (FDA), this requires manufacturing companies to conform to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices). These regulations, which have the force of law, require that manufacturers, processors, and packagers of drugs to take proactive steps to ensure that their products are safe. HVAC system plays a major role in this.
Our Diverse Range Of Solutions For HVAC In Crucial And Challenging Applications Is Built Around An Understanding That Humans Must Be Able To Rely On The Indoor Air Comfort And Critical Air Management When Inside A Facility. Flexible And Cost Effective, Our System Offerings Can Be Applied To Pharmaceuticals, Hospitals, Hotels, Micro-Electronics And Also Commercial Buildings.
Air Handling Units
43 mm thick PUF / Rockwool insulated GI casings with aluminium thermal break profile containing G4, F9 and sometimes H13 filters for filtering the air, direct driven / belt driven blowers for air circulation & cooling and heating coils to cool and dehumidify the air, all working to produce air quality of the highest order. These AHUs are designed and manufactured in the range of 500 – 50,000 CFM.
Ducts
In-house manufacturing of pre-fabricated ducts on CNC aided machines save the installation time at site and provide bare minimum leakages. They are further insulated with polyethylene / nitrile rubber to suppress heat loss.
Chillers
The Heart of the Water based HVAC system (DX in case of Gas based) where the vapor compression cycle takes place along with heat acceptance and rejection.
Air Diffusing ports
Grills, Diffusers, jet nozzles with dampers to diffuse the required amount of conditioned air into the room and thereby produce a controlled environment.
HEPA filters
Final stage filtration, usually mounted in the room and sometimes within the AHU, capable of filtering air upto 99.997% and of particles whose diameter is equal to 0.3 microns thereby making it a mandatory product for classified areas.
Optimized Systems
Heating ventilation & air-conditioning system is the major energy consuming part in pharmaceutical manufacturing. More than 50% of input energy is consumed by HVAC system of the building. Our experienced pharma engineers at RLS design the systems to achieve maximum power efficiencies without diluting on cGMP guidelines
Canonic Functions
HVAC system executes four canonic functions:
- Control airborne particles, dust and micro-organisms through air filtration using high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters.
- Maintain room pressure (delta P) in areas that must remain "cleaner" than surrounding.
- Maintain space moisture (Relative Humidity).
- Maintain space temperature which can affect production directly or indirectly.
